U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service Proposes Endangered Species Status for Sonoyta Mud Turtle

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service proposes to list the Sonoyta mud turtle as an endangered species under the Endangered Species Act, extending protections to this native subspecies from Arizona and Mexico.
