National Park Service Publishes Findings and Recommendations for Wiyot Tribe's Cultural Items

The National Park Service has released its findings and recommendations regarding cultural items for the Wiyot Tribe of California, as mandated by the Native American Graves Protection and Repatriation Act (NAGPRA). The report advises on the classification of certain items as 'sacred objects' but not 'objects of cultural patrimony'.
