Road Closure and Restrictions on Public Lands in Fremont County, CO

The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Royal Gorge Field Office has announced a two-year motor vehicle closure on a one-quarter mile section of the Point Barr Road due to unsafe road conditions caused by a failed road retention wall following heavy rains in late summer 2015. During the closure, the public can access the road on foot, horseback, or by bicycle.
