Superior National Forest Withdraws 234,328 Acres from Mineral Leasing Laws for 20 Years

The Superior National Forest has submitted a proposal to withdraw approximately 234,328 acres of National Forest System lands from mineral and geothermal leasing laws for a 20-year term to protect natural resources and waters from potential environmental impacts in northeastern Minnesota.
