California Walnut Board Proposes Amendment to Marketing Order 984 for Funding

The California Walnut Board is proposing an amendment to Marketing Order 984, which regulates walnuts grown in California, to allow the Board to borrow from a commercial lender to fund operations and marketing/research expenses, giving growers a chance to vote on the change through a referendum.
