USDA Proposes De Minimis Quantity Exemption Threshold for Softwood Lumber Research Order

The US Department of Agriculture (USDA) has proposed a new de minimis quantity exemption threshold under the Softwood Lumber Research, Promotion, Consumer Education and Industry Information Order, which would exempt entities from paying assessments if they manufacture or import less than 15 million board feet per year.
