Payette and Boise National Forests; Valley County, Idaho; Stibnite Gold Project Environmental Impact Statement

The Payette National Forest is preparing an Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) to assess the potential environmental impacts of the Stibnite Gold Project, which involves open-pit mining and ore processing on NFS lands. The USACE and EPA will collaborate on the EIS to ensure it meets their requirements for a potential Department of the Army Permit under the Clean Water Act.
