APHIS to Release Genetically Engineered Diamondback Moths

The Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS) has completed a final environmental assessment and will issue a permit for the field release of genetically engineered diamondback moths designed to reduce female populations, a move that avoids the need for a full environmental impact statement.
