Mississippi Trustee Implementation Group 2016-2017 Restoration Plan/Environmental Assessment and Finding of No Significant Impact (FONSI) Notice

The Mississippi Trustee Implementation Group has released its final 2016-2017 restoration plan, which outlines alternatives for restoring and conserving coastal and marine resources, replenishing living resources, and improving water quality in the Gulf of Mexico. The plan has been evaluated under the Oil Pollution Act of 1990 and the National Environmental Policy Act, and the Federal Trustees have determined that it does not require a major federal action, thus avoiding the need for an Environmental Impact Statement.
