US Agencies Host Public Meeting to Discuss Whole Genome Sequence Analysis for Food Safety and Public Health

The Food Safety and Inspection Service, in collaboration with the FDA, CDC, NCBI, and other stakeholders, is hosting a public meeting to discuss the use of whole genome sequence analysis to improve food safety and public health by analyzing bacterial isolates from official samples and sharing data with regulated industry and consumers.
