USDA Withdraws Interim Final Rule on Packers and Stockyards Act Scope

The Grain Inspection, Packers and Stockyards Administration (GIPSA) of the US Department of Agriculture (USDA) has withdrawn its interim final rule (IFR) regarding the scope of sections 202(a) and (b) of the Packers and Stockyards Act (P&S Act), which would have clarified unlawful practices under the Act.
