FCIC Amends Crop Insurance Regulations to Simplify Provisions and Reduce Burden on Producers

The Federal Crop Insurance Corporation (FCIC) has revised and clarified policy provisions for Catastrophic Risk Protection Endorsement, Area Risk Protection Insurance Basic Provisions, and Common Crop Insurance Policy Basic Provisions to make it easier for farmers to insure their crops, with changes taking effect for the 2018 and succeeding crop years for crops with a 2018 contract change date on or after the effective date, and for the 2019 and succeeding crop years for crops with a 2018 contract change date prior to the effective date.
