Oranges and Grapefruit Grown in the Lower Rio Grande Valley in Texas; Decreased Assessment Rate

The Texas Valley Citrus Committee recommends decreasing the assessment rate for oranges and grapefruit grown in the Lower Rio Grande Valley in Texas from $0.09 to $0.02 per 7/10-bushel carton, effective for the 2017-18 fiscal period and beyond, unless modified or terminated. The proposed rule also updates subpart headings to conform to Office of Federal Register requirements.
