US Government Proposes New Viticultural Areas in Washington State

The US Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB) has proposed the creation of a new viticultural area, 'Candy Mountain', in Benton County, Washington, and modifications to the existing 'Yakima Valley' viticultural area to avoid overlap, in order to provide clearer origin labeling for wines and better consumer identification.
