EPA Approves Arizona State Implementation Plan to Phase Out Stage II Vapor Recovery Equipment

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has approved a state implementation plan revision to eliminate the requirement for Stage II vapor recovery equipment at new gasoline stations in the Phoenix-Mesa area, allowing for the phased removal of the equipment from existing stations between October 2016 and September 2018.
