HUD Finalizes Rule for On-Site Completion of Manufactured Homes

The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) has established a new procedure allowing manufactured home manufacturers to complete construction at the installation site, eliminating the need for advance HUD approval, and streamlining the process for homebuilders.
