Surface Transportation Board Requests Extension of Statutory Licensing and Consolidation Authority Information Collection

The Surface Transportation Board is seeking approval from the Office of Management and Budget to extend its information collection on Statutory Licensing and Consolidation Authority, which requires rail carriers and non-carriers to file applications with the Board or seek exemptions before constructing, acquiring, or operating railroad lines, or consolidating their interests through mergers or common-control arrangements.
