Surface Transportation Board Requests Extension of Statutory Authority to Preserve Rail Service

The Surface Transportation Board is seeking approval from the Office of Management and Budget to extend the collection of information related to preserving rail service, as required by the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995. This collection allows shippers and communities to preserve rail service by filing financial assistance offers, public use conditions, or trail-use requests with the Board.
