EPA Proposes Settlement for Samoa Pulp Mill Superfund Site in California

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is seeking public comment on a proposed settlement with Humboldt Bay Harbor, Conservation and Recreation District to recover past response costs for the Samoa Pulp Mill Superfund Site in Samoa, California, as required by the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation and Liability Act of 1980 (CERCLA).
