DoD Proposes Amendment to DFARS for Counterfeit Electronic Parts Detection and Avoidance

The US Department of Defense is proposing to update the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement to require defense contractors and subcontractors to source electronic parts from trusted suppliers, further implementing a provision from the 2012 National Defense Authorization Act.
