Department of Education Renames and Enhances System for Handling Student Default Rate Appeals

The Department of Education is replacing its Electronic Cohort Default Rate Appeals system with the Data Challenges and Appeals Solutions System, a new system designed to handle increased data challenges and appeals related to student default rates, as mandated by the Higher Education Act of 1965 and the General Education regulations.
