FEMA Amends Kentucky Disaster Declaration for Severe Storms and Flooding
The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) has amended its declaration of a major disaster for the state of Kentucky, which was initially declared on May 11, 2010, due to severe storms, flooding, mudslides, and tornadoes that occurred between May 1, 2010, and June 1, 2010. The amended declaration is effective as of June 15, 2010, and provides additional time for affected individuals and businesses to apply for physical and economic injury disaster loans.
