EPA Establishes Significant New Use Rule for Hexabromocyclododecane and 1,2,5,6,9,10-Hexabromocyclododecane

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is requiring companies to notify them 90 days prior to manufacturing or processing hexabromocyclododecane or 1,2,5,6,9,10-hexabromocyclododecane for use in consumer textiles, in order to evaluate the intended use and potentially prohibit or limit the activity.
