EPA Approves Florida's Lead NAAQS Implementation Plan

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has finalized its approval of Florida's plan to implement the 2008 Lead national ambient air quality standards (NAAQS), which is a requirement under the Clean Air Act (CAA). The plan, submitted by the Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FL DEP) on October 14, 2011, ensures the state will enforce and maintain the 2008 Lead NAAQS.
