NMFS Updates Regulations for Regional Fishery Management Councils to Reflect FOIA Request Processing Procedures

The National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) is updating existing regulations governing Regional Fishery Management Councils under the Magnuson-Stevens Fishery Conservation and Management Act to reflect the current procedure for processing Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests. This change aims to make the rules more internally consistent and easier to use.
