Exclusive Patent License for HIV-1 Resistance Detection Assays

The Public Health Service, Department of Health and Human Services, is considering granting an exclusive patent license to Research Think Tank Molecular Diagnostics, Inc. for its real-time PCR point mutation assays to detect HIV-1 resistance to antiviral drugs, as outlined in several patent applications filed between 2004 and 2013.
