PHMSA Reopens Comments Period for New York City Permit Requirements for Hazardous Materials Transportation

The Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration (PHMSA) is accepting public comments on the American Trucking Associations, Inc. (ATA) application for preemption of New York City Fire Department permit requirements for transporting certain hazardous materials through New York City or for transshipment from the city, along with the permit fee.
