FAA Issues Special Conditions for Gulfstream Model GVII-G500 Airplanes with Automatic Speed Protection

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has issued special conditions for the Gulfstream Model GVII-G500 airplane, which features a novel design to reduce the margin between design cruising and diving speeds, and includes a high-speed protection system to limit pilot authority at high speeds.
