EPA Denies TSCA Section 21 Petition for Mercury Regulations

The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has denied a petition from the Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC) and the Northeast Waste Management Officials' Association (NEWMOA) to establish record-keeping requirements for mercury manufacturers, processors, and importers in the US, following a June 24, 2015, submission.
