FMCSA Proposes Amendments to Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations

The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) proposes amendments to the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations (FMCSRs) in response to petitions and safety recommendations from the Commercial Vehicle Safety Alliance (CVSA), American Trucking Associations (ATA), and the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB). The proposed changes aim to improve safety standards for parts and accessories, inspection, repair, and maintenance of commercial vehicles.
