EPA Grants Exemption for Cellulose Carboxymethyl Ether, Potassium Salt in Pesticide Formulations

The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has granted a tolerance exemption for cellulose carboxymethyl ether, potassium salt, allowing it to be used as an inert ingredient in pesticide formulations without requiring a maximum permissible level for residues on food or feed commodities, following a petition submitted by Spring Trading Company on behalf of Lamberti USA, Incorporated under the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act (FFDCA).
