NMFS Receives Permit Applications for Abalone Research

The National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) has announced the receipt of permit applications for scientific research on abalone, with the goal of advancing knowledge of endangered species under the Endangered Species Act (ESA) and informing conservation efforts.
