FEMA Amends Kentucky Disaster Declaration for Severe Storms, Flooding, and Mudslides
The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) has amended its declaration of a major disaster for the State of Kentucky, which was initially declared on July 23, 2010, due to severe storms, flooding, and mudslides that occurred from July 17 to July 30, 2010. The amended declaration is effective as of August 5, 2010, and provides additional time for affected individuals and businesses to apply for physical and economic injury disaster loans.
