NIST Withdraws Six Federal Information Processing Standards (FIPS) Due to Obsolescence

The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) has announced the withdrawal of six Federal Information Processing Standards (FIPS) that have not been updated to reflect current industry standards, federal specifications, or federal data standards, as required by federal agencies.
