EPA Exempts Potassium Salts of Hops Beta Acids from Tolerance Requirement for Varroa Mite Control

The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has granted an exemption to Beta Tec Hop Products, Inc. from the requirement of a tolerance for residues of potassium salts of hops beta acids in honey and honeycomb, allowing for the use of this pesticide to control Varroa mites in accordance with label directions and good agricultural practices.
