Texas Seeks EPA Approval for Hazardous Waste Program Revisions

The State of Texas has submitted a request to the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) for final authorization of changes to its hazardous waste management program under the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA). The EPA is proposing to grant final authorization to the state, with a 60-day comment period during which written comments opposing the authorization can be submitted.
