BASF Seeks Tolerance for Metaflumizone Residues in Various Fruits and Nuts

The BASF Corporation has submitted a request to the US government for a pesticide tolerance allowing the presence of up to 0.04 parts per million of the insecticide metaflumizone in certain fruits and nuts, including citrus, pome fruit, stone fruit, and tree nuts, in accordance with the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act (FFDCA).
