EPA Proposes Amendments to Stationary CI Engine Standards for Emergency Situations

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is proposing changes to the standards for stationary compression ignition internal combustion engines to allow for temporary overrides in emergency situations where human life is at risk, and to require compliance with Tier 1 emission standards during these emergencies, particularly in remote areas of Alaska.
