Airbus Proposes New Airworthiness Directive for Certain Model CN-235-200 and CN-235-300 Airplanes

Airbus Defense and Space S.A. is proposing a new airworthiness directive to modify the engine fire detection system on its Model CN-235-200 and CN-235-300 airplanes, following reports of false engine fire warning events that led to engine shutdowns, in order to prevent unnecessary in-flight engine shutdowns and maintain airplane controllability.
