Federal Student Financial Assistance Programs to Expand Competency-Based Education Experiment

The U.S. Department of Education is expanding a competency-based education experiment, allowing institutions to provide federal student aid in new ways, including charging flat fees and waiving certain requirements, to support students enrolled in these programs.
