Extension of Public Comment Period for Open Licensing Requirement for Direct Grant Programs

The U.S. Department of grants is extending the public comment period for its proposed rule requiring federal grant recipients to openly license their intellectual property created with Department grant funds, from December 18, 2015, to January 7, 2016.
