HUD Defines 'Chronically Homeless' for Continuum of Care Program

The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) has established a definition of 'chronically homeless' that will guide its homeless assistance programs, building on public comment and aligning with definitions used by other agencies such as the Department of Veterans Affairs.
