FMCSA Renewal of Exemption for Bendix Commercial Vehicles Systems LLC

The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) has renewed an exemption allowing motor carriers to install lane departure warning system and collision mitigation system cameras lower in the windshield of commercial vehicles than the current regulations permit. The FMCSA requests public comments on this exemption renewal, particularly from those who believe the safety standard may not be maintained.
