EPA Approves Nevada's PM10 Plan and Redesignation Request

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has finalized two revisions to Nevada's state implementation plan, which aims to reduce particulate matter with an aerodynamic diameter less than or equal to 10 micrometers (PM10) in the Truckee Meadows area, and also approves the state's request to redesignate the area as meeting the national ambient air quality standard for PM10.
