EPA Approves Washington State's Plan to Reduce Ozone Emissions

The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has approved the State of Washington's submittal to address Clean Air Act requirements, ensuring that the state's State Implementation Plan (SIP) includes provisions to prevent emissions that can negatively impact neighboring states' air quality, particularly in relation to the 2008 ozone National Ambient Air Quality Standard (NAAQS).
