NMFS Designates Exempted States for Anglers, Spear Fishers, and For-Hire Fishing Vessels
The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) Fisheries Service (NMFS) has designated eight states and two territories as exempted states for anglers, spear fishers, and for-hire fishing vessels, allowing them to fish without federal permits.
