Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration Amends Regulations for Safe Transportation of Bulk Explosives

The PHMSA is updating its hazardous materials regulations to establish standards for transporting explosives on cargo tank motor vehicles and multipurpose bulk trucks, in response to industry petitions and to provide wider access to regulatory flexibility, eliminating the need for future renewal requests and reducing paperwork burdens.
