The Boeing Company Proposes New Airworthiness Directive to Address Uncommanded Autopilot Engagement Events

The Boeing Company is proposing a new airworthiness directive to address reports of uncommanded autopilot engagement events resulting in incorrect stabilizer trim adjustment during takeoff, which could lead to high-speed rejected takeoff and runway overrun, or reduced controllability of the aircraft.
