Healthcare Industry Seeks New Safe Harbors and Fraud Alerts

The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services is seeking proposals to develop new safe harbor provisions under the Federal anti-kickback statute and new OIG Special Fraud Alerts, in accordance with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA).
