Northwest Tennessee Regional Port Authority Seeks Exemption to Construct and Operate Railroad Line in Lake County, Tennessee

The Surface Transportation Board has prepared an Environmental Assessment in response to a petition by the Northwest Tennessee Regional Port Authority to construct and operate a 5.5-mile railroad line connecting the Port of Cates Landing to an existing railroad line, with the potential to provide rail service to customers at the port and the Lake County Industrial Park.
